Most of what we are asked for starts the same way: something important is being done by hand, or two systems that should talk do not. Here is the shape that usually takes.
AI agents and assistants
Software that reads, decides and acts inside your business — triaging enquiries, drafting the reply, checking the order, escalating the one case that needs a person. Built against your data and your rules, with a human approving anything that changes something.
Workflow automation
The job somebody does every Tuesday by copying between a spreadsheet and a portal. We find where the hours actually go, automate the repeatable part, and leave the judgement calls with the person who should be making them.
Integrations that hold
Your shop, your stock, your accounts and your CRM, agreeing with each other — including at 2am when one of them is down. We build the retries, the reconciliation and the alerting, because an integration that only works on a good day is worse than none.
Plugins, tools and web apps
WordPress and WooCommerce plugins, internal tools, client portals, dashboards — the software that does the one thing your business does differently, which is exactly the thing you cannot buy off a shelf.

One price for the job, agreed before we start.
No day rates and no open-ended retainer. A day rate pays us to be slow; a fixed price for a defined job puts the risk of an estimate where it belongs, which is with us.

In your own words. You do not need a specification, a budget or a technical opinion — if you had those, you would already be halfway through the job.
We scope it and quote
Usually a couple of questions first, then a written scope and a fixed price. If we think the job is smaller than you feared, we say so — and occasionally that the software you are asking for is not what you need.
We build it in the open
You see working software early and often, not a status report. Anything that turns out to be wrong is cheaper to find in week one than at handover.
You own it
The code, the documentation and the accounts are yours, on your infrastructure. Keep us for support if it helps, but never because leaving would be difficult.

Creaholik is registered in the United Kingdom and runs from London. What we build is software, so it is delivered remotely and works the same whether you are down the road or ten time zones away.
We work in English, French and Arabic — all three properly, not through a translation tool. If it is easier to explain your problem in one of them, use it; the software gets built either way.

Each of these is an ordinary experience of commissioning software. None of them has to be.
Bill you for our own mistakes
The price is for the job. If it takes longer than we thought, that is an estimate we got wrong — not a change request, and not another invoice.
Make leaving difficult
Code, documentation and accounts are yours, on your own infrastructure, from the first week. Nothing we write needs a payment to us to keep running.
Disappear into a six-month build
You see software running early and often. A project whose first demonstration is at handover has been hiding its risk from you — and usually from us as well.
Sell you something you do not need
Sometimes the honest answer is a setting in software you already own, or a smaller job than the one you asked for. We would rather say so than take the larger invoice once.

What businesses ask before commissioning software.
How much does custom software cost?
It depends on the job, which is why we quote per job rather than publish a price list. As a rough shape: a single automation or integration is usually a few thousand pounds; an agent or an internal tool with real business logic behind it is typically five figures. We tell you which bracket you are in before you spend anything, and if the honest answer is that the job is smaller than you feared, that is the answer you get.
How long does a project take?
Most jobs run between two and eight weeks from agreed scope to delivered software, and you see it working long before the end. Anything longer than that we would rather split into pieces that each deliver something usable, because a six-month project that has produced nothing you can touch is a risk we do not want to hand you either.
Do we own the code?
Yes — the code, the documentation and the accounts, on your own infrastructure. We do not hold your software hostage on our servers, and nothing we build requires an ongoing payment to us to keep running. If you want us for support afterwards it should be because it is useful, not because leaving is hard.
What if we do not know exactly what we need?
That is the normal case and it is not a problem. Describe what happens today, who does it and what you wish happened instead — working out the rest is part of the job. Clients who arrive with a finished specification are often specifying the solution they guessed at rather than the problem they have.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Usually, and it is most of what we do. Shops, stock systems, accounting packages, CRMs and the spreadsheet somebody has been maintaining for nine years — if it has an API, a database or an export, it can generally be connected. Where a system genuinely cannot be integrated, we would rather tell you that early than bill you for finding out.
Where are you based, and does it matter?
We are a UK company, registered in England and Wales and run from London. Everything we build is software and is delivered remotely, so we work with clients wherever they are — it makes no difference to the job. We work in English, French and Arabic, so pick whichever is easiest for explaining the problem.
